For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
~ Hebrews 4:12
Each Sunday we have a church service from 10am to 11:30am. The service typically begins with announcements, worship, and prayer before Pastor Steve gives a message.
Coffee and treats are available in the back of the sanctuary beginning at 9:45am. Children’s church is available after worship for grades kindergarten to 8th grade. Bathrooms are available at all times downstairs.
We provide a meal for KNIGHTS children at 4:30pm each Wednesday. The night continues with announcements, songs, a lesson, games, and snack before wrapping up at 6:30pm. The frond doors are typically locked on Wednesdays so we ask that you use the side door on the south (the side with the KNIGHTS banner).
What should I wear to church?
Come as you are. North Wind does not have a specific dress code. On Sundays you will typically find us in jeans.
Where is North Wind Church?
North Wind is located in Keewatin, MN at 103 N 1st Street. This is where all of our Sunday services and Wednesday KNIGHTS meet.
Is parking available?
While North Wind does not have its own parking lot, there is generous street parking near the church in Keewatin, including two handicap parking spaces in front of the church. Please pay attention to the calendar parking during the winter to avoid getting plowed in.
Is nursery available?
At this time, North Wind does not have the volunteers to open the nursery, however, there is a room in the back of the sanctuary that younger children may move around in under parental guidance. If you are interested in volunteering for nursery please contact us at admin@northwindmn.org.
Please send any additional questions to admin@northwindmn.org, we would be happy to answer them!
The Act of Giving Changes Us, Making Us More Like Our Generous Creator.
God is the ultimate giver who gave the most precious gift, His son Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins.
Give your tithes and offerings here:
Giving allows us to do God’s work; that may take the form of providing meals to the elderly, providing solar chargers to ministers in Africa, holding a summer program for the local kids, planting churches locally, nationally, and across the world, and it provides a salary for our Pastor and his family. Giving also allows us to keep the lights on and provide a warm and welcoming environment for all who choose to join us.
If you’re a visitor here please do not feel obligated to give; we are just happy you chose to spend some time with us.
You can make a difference in so many ways. You can donate your time, your resources, or your knowledge.
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. ~Hebrews 13:16
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
~Philippians 4:6,7
Praying for one another is a powerful way for us to bear one another’s burdens. Taking another’s hand and praying for them is a powerful blessing you can give another person.
